We arrived on Easter Sunday and there was a greta tamosphere - lovely meak in the evening

On the Monday we arrived back at the hotel at 9.30pm and it was closed. We didn't have our phone with us and had to find another restauarant to make the call and get a meal.

All the staff were extremely nice. Having a restaurant on the premises is ideal. Our room looked over a vineyard and in the distance you can see an old town up on the hill.

The petrol station at the front of the hotel is very quite an eyesore. There was someone sawing wood I think, mid-morning of our first day. However, as we were busy getting ready for a wedding that afternoon, we tried not to let it bother us!

Air conditioning did not work and room was very hot. Dinner menu was not appealing.

The room provided the necessary basics and was kept clean throughout our stay. The staff were great, friendly and accommodating, even stepping out of their way to print out train times and also drive us to the station to catch the train back to the airport on leaving. I went with my young family; my husband, my three year old and a one year old, so we had a few bags and a pushchair, at time of leaving there were no cabs available and one of the staff offered to drive us. They gave a lively restaurant where had our evening meals which was very convenient as there were no other places to eat close enough to the hotel within easy walking distance for my family. I would definitetly stay here again.

The only thing that was troublesome for my family was the hotels location on a relatively busy main road. It would not have been a problem did I not have young children and a pushchair, but as there are no pavements we had to walk on the road; which was very worrying at times. The distance to the main train station was not that long, about 8/10 minutes walk, but without pavements or proper walkways and having the pushchair it took twice as long. Still, if you don't mind negotiating the walk, its a perfect hotel to stay at.

The hotel is near the Tuscany highlights and has a restaurant. Coffee at breakfast was good.

The location near a road and a gas station is not very nice. The room did not have climate control and was very hot. Staff was helpful and provided a portable airconditioner. Alas it was noisy, had a big bright blue display and we had to put the tube out of the window so the light came in very early and woke us. All in all not very good value for money.

Air conditioning rather feeble in temperatures of 35 degrees.

A very long list: poor restaurant, poor facilities, no air conditioning, no staff at the reception to help, misleading recommendations. It is clearly a fake. Felt ripped off, honestly. I do not understand how the rating system works at Booked.net since the same hotel is compared to others that are much better. I would strongly recommend another visit to the place since its rating is highly (artificially?) inflated.
